Artist: Andy Goldsworthy

Andy Goldsworthy is a British artist known for his site-specific and ephemeral sculptures and installations that often use natural materials like rocks, leaves, ice, and branches. Born on July 26, 1956, in Cheshire, England, Goldsworthy's work is influenced by his background in environmental and agricultural studies.

Goldsworthy's sculptures and installations often interact with the natural environment in which they are created, and are subject to the forces of nature like wind, rain, and tides. His works are often temporary and may last only for a short period of time before being reclaimed by the environment or disappearing altogether.

Goldsworthy's work has been exhibited in galleries and museums around the world, and he has completed numerous public commissions. He has also been the subject of several documentary films, including "Rivers and Tides" (2001) and "Leaning into the Wind" (2017).
